Minor scales come in different forms. The Minor Natural scale can be derived from the major scale the minor third above. A minor natural contains the same notes as C Major, E minor matches with G Major etc. But minor scales are appropriate when playing in minor keys. There are other minor scales such as Melodic Minor. Alse, a Dorian Mode (scale) is a minor scale, but we'll get to that later.
